Goal Six: Leadership and Organization
Saint Louis University's School of Medicine will achieve its educational, research, clinical and service missions with a supportive culture and effective leadership, while being an excellent steward of its people and resources.
Objectives
- Increase philanthropic support of the School of Medicine.
 - Create organizational infrastructure that promotes transparency, accreditation, professionalism, accountability, shared governance, wellness and stewardship.
 - Ensure the SOM has strategic, visionary leaders that advance its mission.

- Develop and execute a capital campaign.
 - Strengthen corporate and foundation engagement.
 - Establish defined SOM development organization accountable to the dean.
 - Establish "engagement" protocols between SSM and SOM.
 - Engage faculty to identify and engage with donors.
 - Strengthen SOM alumni communication and database.
 - Issue SOM annual report for potential donors and alumni, e.g. "Grand Rounds."

 - Develop SLU-SSM professionalism standards and training.
